  I don't understand what all the negative reviews are about. Ok, since I'm giving 5 stars to offset things a bit. If you're looking at it from a high end point of view, sure 3 stars, but for what it is, it's a 5 star, best in class joint to me. It's a perfectly good, inexpensive Mexican food joint.
  
  I go there a lot, never had any issues. Do they speak perfect English? No, but I don't care!
  
  Food tastes great, it's ready fairly quickly. I usually do take out and all my house guests always find it great and enjoyable. Burritos, tacos, quesadillas, all just great, like any other good place I've eaten.
  
  I'm gonna keep going there.

  Came in here with my sister and that short man and woman were rude AF. The woman told me her name was "flora" I doubt she gave me the right name. Rude since we walked into the restaurant. She kept smirking and talking to the short man cooking. I didn't like her attitude I was as nice as I could be. Been here about 5 times in the past 8 months and the quality has gone down a lot. Everything was salty and the rice looked gross. She also only gave us 3 sauces for 8 tacos! (See picture) Is that even a thing? What a rip off will never be back and I'm sure she'll be happy since she was making a joke of the situation with that short man cook. Also we should've taken a hint when we were the only ones in the restaurant.

  Worst food of my life! Food was salty and so were the employees. This place has gone down hill fast. The employees didn't make it better. Wouldn't pay attention I kept having to repeat myself over and over. Maybe the short woman needs better hearing skills.

  First off we love some good tacos from the east bay to the north bay. We recently moved to Los Angeles thinking we would receive up to par or better Mexican food. With that being said we arrived to tacos Mexico on Van Nuys and immediately realized we weren't  in San Francisco anymore. On a late night Wednesday we took a gamble on some blurry food pictures taped to a wall. She ordered the crunchy tacos, I ordered the 4 tacos combo, super excited at this point super hungry. We wait, we chat,
  We giggle as we're coming to the end of a long 12 minute waiting process the cook comes around the corner and says " we're out of chicken for the combo" ( I don't eat red meat ). She suggest carne or al pastor, I decline both. We get the food, we go home ..... we open the box AND YALL, the food Looked plastic!. Her crunchy tacos tasted like pigeon and the refried beans were super oily, flavorless nonetheless. My bean + rice tacos were stuck together with cheese that looked like dried up silly string. We couldn't muster  the stomach to even eat half before the pains started kicking in ...... long story short DON'T DO IT JUST GO TO SLEEP HUNGRY.

  Bad costumer service was very disappointed never again that is for sure
  I payed 8 bucks for a torta and it wass sooo small needss alot of improvement this place is taste ok but needs alot of improvement
